“The beginning is the most important part of the work.” -Plato, The Republic
I discovered this quote for the first time today, looking for quotes about beginnings. It sums up perfectly why I have waited until now to begin this endeavor. I have yearned to write about travel, life in a tiny house, organization, the miracles we have witnessed, and the adventures and misadventures we seem to get ourselves in to either accidentally or on purpose. I have never attempted before now, simply because I didn’t know how to begin.
You see, I tend to be a perfectionist. There are many times where I won’t even attempt something because I want to do it the right way. My thoughts have been “If I am going to start a blog, I need to research it and not begin until I know how to do it the right way.” and “If I am going to blog, I need to learn how to make money from it first.” oh and don’t forget the excuse of “I need the right tools and better equipment before I can produce quality content.”. These unrealistic expectations on myself have kept all of the wonderful experiences, insights, and all of the things we have learned along the way not shared. Eventually the details get lost to time.
No longer will I wait to share my life and experiences with the world! This is where I begin!
I love your writing and I ha e always benefited from your knowledge and experience. I am excited to read more (especially because our talk sessions are very limited now ❤️)
